Csaba Konkoly, General Partner
Csaba has over two decades of investment experience in both the Hedge Fund and Venture Capital worlds.
Prior to founding Tiller, he was Partner Co–CIO at the global macro hedge fund CommonWealth Opportunity where he focused on asset allocation and risk management. Before that, he was co-founder of GATKO Partners, a global, top-down equity hedge fund with offices in London and Singapore.
He holds an M.Sc. in Economics from the University of Budapest and attended the MBA Program at the New York University Stern School of Business.
Tory Green, Partner
Tory is an experienced entrepreneur and investor with a deep background in mobile and digital media.
Prior to joining Tiller, Tory was co-founder of The Art of Charm, an information-based publishing firm with a Top 50 iTunes ranking and over 2 million downloads per month.
Tory also worked as a analyst at Oaktree Capital Management, The Walt Disney Company, Merrill Lynch and 21st Century Fox.
He holds a BA in Economics from Stanford University and played on the Westpoint Military Academy football team.
Alanna Gregory, Venture Partner
Alanna Gregory is a venture partner at Tiller Partners, bringing consumer digital and marketing expertise to our companies. Currently, Alanna is the head of marketing at Hairstory, a global hair care brand. In her role, she drives the strategy for the Hairstory brand and its marketing organization—directly overseeing Brand, Growth Marketing, Communications, Creative and Digital Product.
Prior to Hairstory, she has worked with brands such as MIRROR, Il Makiage, and Flutterwave (YC). She is an active early-stage investor and backer of 3+ successful consumer tech companies, and is also a YC alum.
Alanna started her career working on Wall Street. She received a B.S.E. in Operations Research from Princeton University.
Matt Watkinson, Venture Partner
Matt is an internationally renowned author, speaker and consultant on customer experience and strategy.
His first book, The Ten Principles Behind Great Customer Experiences won the CMI's Management Book of the Year. His second — The Grid: The Decision-making Tool for Every Business (Including Yours) — was published by Random House to widespread critical acclaim.
Matt is also the CEO of Methodical, a design agency based in California, and a Senior Visiting Fellow at Cass Business School, London. Matt has been a member of the Royal Chartered Society of Designers for over a decade and holds a B.A. in Business and Information Management from Oxford Brookes University.
